Jay-Z Confirmed As 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Headliner

American rap icon Jay-Z will headline the Super Bowl halftime show in 2027. The NFL, Roc Nation, and Apple  Music announced on Monday that the performance will take place at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on February 14, 2027.

Jay-Z described the opportunity as a long-awaited dream. “From Reasonable Doubt to standing on the Super Bowl Halftime stage, this has been a journey. Thirty years of music, work, and culture on the world’s biggest stage,” he said. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell also welcomed the news, noting that he had hoped for years that Jay-Z would one day take the stage himself after Roc Nation began producing the show in 2019.

Although Roc Nation has helped select the halftime performers for several years, this will mark Jay-Z’s first time performing at the event. The announcement has generated excitement among fans, with many describing it as a historic moment for hip-hop on football’s biggest stage.
