Between March 14 and March 17, 2023, Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken will travel to Ethiopia and Niger.
The Secretary will visit Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on March 15, where he will talk about how the cease-fire agreement to advance peace and promote transitional justice in northern Ethiopia is being implemented.
He will also meet with partners in humanitarian aid and people working in civil society to talk about how humanitarian aid is delivered, food security, and human rights.
While there, the Secretary will likewise meet with African Association Commission Executive Moussa Faki Mahamat to examine shared worldwide and provincial needs and circle back to responsibilities from the U.S.- Africa Pioneers Highest point in regards to food security, environment and an equitable energy change, the African diaspora, and worldwide wellbeing.
