Renowned basketball star, astute businessman, and dedicated philanthropist, LeBron James, continues his tireless efforts to uplift individuals from diverse backgrounds.  

The NBA’s all-time leading scorer has forged a partnership with LIFEWTR for a groundbreaking project designed to inspire people to pursue their passions. 

In an endeavor known as the “More to Life” campaign, the beverage brand will allocate a substantial sum of over $100,000 to both individuals and groups who are dedicated to harnessing the transformative potential of reinvention and self-discovery through the exploration of newfound talents and passions.  

The objective is to not only empower these individuals but also enrich their lives and communities as a whole. Through this collaboration, LIFEWTR and LeBron James aspire to emphasize the significance of nurturing one’s interests comprehensively. 

Throughout LeBron James’ illustrious career, the world has witnessed his remarkable ability to reinvent himself and venture into domains beyond the basketball court, such as education and media.  

The four-time NBA champion believes that this campaign underscores the intrinsic connection between creativity and purpose. He conveyed his excitement about this partnership, stating, “This partnership with LIFEWTR is about celebrating community, purpose, and creativity, so it’s exciting to see those values come to life in this campaign. The ‘more’ in my life is what drives me—my family, uplifting my community, and tapping into those things that bring you joy—all while supporting and inspiring others to do, and be, more along the way.” 

Emily Boido, serving as the Senior Director of Marketing at Enhanced Water Brands, expressed her hope that this project will motivate individuals to thrive in the upcoming chapters of their lives.  

She noted, “We couldn’t think of a better partner to join us in telling this story than LeBron James. As a multi-talented global icon and mentor to many, he embodies the spirit of the ‘More to Life’ message, which is why we have come together to encourage people to take the time to care for and embrace their many sides, in the hopes of getting more out of life.” 

The first round of grants will be directed towards scholars at LeBron James’ I PROMISE School in his hometown of Akron. This initiative is part of a multi-year agreement James forged with LIFEWTR in 2022. 

This collaboration is just one of LIFEWTR’s many impactful partnerships. In 2021, the brand joined forces with Issa Rae to amplify the work of underrepresented creatives.
