The Black Girl’s Guide to Healing Emotional Wounds has announced its first-ever Advisory Board, made up of 13 influential leaders from various fields. This historic step marks a pivotal moment in the organization’s mission to move the culture from trauma to emotional excellence through compassion, wisdom, and emotional awareness. 

 The Advisory Board will play a crucial role in shaping the organization’s mission and advancing its goals by: 

– Making emotional healing resources available to all Black women in the US 

– Promoting inclusive and supportive environments for Black women in organizations 

– Developing policies to improve mental health resources for Black women and girls 

– Empowering underrepresented communities to prioritize emotional healing 

Founder Nijiama Smalls said, “This Advisory Board represents a bold step forward in our commitment to creating a culture of emotional excellence for Black women,” said Smalls. “Each member brings a unique perspective and unmatched dedication to ensuring Black women feel supported, empowered, and seen.”   

The Board members come from various sectors, including mental health, education, corporate leadership, community advocacy, healthcare, and the arts. Together, they will provide strategic guidance to drive meaningful change nationwide.
