In the presence of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Demeke Mekonnen, President Sahle-Work Zewde, and other high-ranking government officials, the first Ethiopian Diaspora Organizations Recognition Program is currently underway in Addis Ababa.
For their contributions to the various national calls, 52 organizations representing the Ethiopian diaspora are receiving praise.
The recognition program aims to encourage and thank the diaspora community for its contributions to public diplomacy, image building, and resource mobilization, among other endeavors.
The diaspora organizations have made significant contributions to the protection of the national interest and the growth of the economy and society.
They also said that they would work to make the diaspora play a bigger role in the development of the country.
The Ethiopian Diaspora and companions of Ethiopia across the globe overall and Africans specifically have been assuming a urgent part in switching the outlandish and very much planned tension on Ethiopia on a few events.
It should be recalled that Ethiopians from all over the world have held international rallies in 27 cities to demonstrate their unity in defense of Ethiopian sovereignty under the slogan “No More” sanctions against Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa, lies, and disinformation.
