2027 Grammy Awards To Air Live On ABC from Crypto.com Arena/ Image@ billboard
The 2027 Grammy Awards will be broadcast live on ABC from the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday, February 7, 2027.
The event will also be available for streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.
The announcement was made during the Disney Upfront presentation in New York City on Tuesday, May 12.
Nominations for the prestigious awards will be revealed on Monday, November 16.
This marks a significant return for the Grammys to ABC, as it has been since 1972 that the ceremony aired on this network. The transition to ABC, along with streaming on Hulu and Disney+, was first disclosed in October 2024.
CEO of the Recording Academy, Harvey Mason Jr., expressed enthusiasm about this new chapter for the Grammy Awards.
“The Grammys celebrate the music that resonates globally, and this moment reflects that spirit,” he stated.
“We’re embarking on an exciting journey with a new platform, and we believe the best is yet to come.”
The inaugural Grammy broadcasts took place on ABC in 1971 and 1972 before moving to CBS in 1973, where it remained until the latest show aired on February 1, 2026. The last four Grammy broadcasts were also available for viewing on Paramount+.
Since 2000, the ceremony has been hosted at Crypto.com Arena, formerly known as Staples Center, except for four years. Notably, the shows in 2003 and 2018 were held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its variants, the 2021 and 2022 ceremonies were relocated, the former took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center, while the latter was hosted at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Trevor Noah has served as host for the past six Grammy telecasts, but the Recording Academy has yet to announce who will take on this role for the 2027 ceremony.
