Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and former Vice President of Ghana, is set to deliver a keynote address at this year’s Africa Summit hosted by the London School of Economics (LSE).
His presentation will focus on the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Unifying Borders in Africa.”
Scheduled for Saturday, March 28, the LSE Africa Summit is an annual conference organized by students that fosters discussions surrounding the continent’s current challenges and prospects.
The event attracts distinguished scholars, prominent politicians, innovators, activists, and visionary entrepreneurs, creating a unique venue for exchanging ideas and building connections that lead to impactful actions.
Recognized as the largest event of its kind in Europe, the LSE Africa Summit was initiated by LSE students in 2014. The founders aimed to challenge prevailing stereotypes of the continent as impoverished and underdeveloped.
