Ghana And Zimbabwe Forge Stronger Ties With 11 New Agreements

In a significant move to enhance bilateral relations, Ghana and Zimbabwe have inked 11 agreements during the state visit of Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa to Ghana.

‎The newly signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) yesterday, span various sectors, including political and diplomatic dialogue, research and training initiatives in foreign service institutions, as well as advancements in sports, health, energy, archives, tourism, and trade.

‎Among the notable collaborations is a partnership between the Institute of African Knowledge and the Ghana Museum and Monument Board, focusing on projects related to African liberation.

‎Additionally, a separate agreement was established to formalize cooperation between the private sectors of both nations, specifically between Zoomlion Ghana Limited and Geo Pomona Waste Management (Pvt) Ltd.

‎The MoUs are anticipated to promote knowledge sharing, collaborative research efforts, infrastructure enhancement, and economic synergy. They align with Ghana’s strategic vision to become a central hub for Pan-African tourism and trade.
