President Mahama Appoints Kalsoume Sinare As Ghana’s Ambassador To Spain

President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, has officially appointed Kalsoume Sinare Baffoe as Ghana’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain.

‎The commissioning ceremony took place yesterday, marking the formal appointment of Madam Baffoe to represent Ghana’s interests in Spain and strengthen diplomatic relations between both nations.

‎As Ambassador-designate, Baffoe will focus on fostering bilateral integration, promoting trade and investment, and advancing Ghana’s foreign policy objectives in Spain.

‎Kalsoume Sinare Baffoe is a renowned Ghanaian actress, model, filmmaker, and public figure with a career that spans nearly four decades. She gained prestige in the late 1980s and early 1990s through modeling, featuring Ghana at the Miss Model of the World pageant in 1990, where she was crowned Miss Model of Africa.

‎She switched into acting, making her debut in the stage production Theatre Mirrors and later starring in films such as “Out of Sight”, “Babina”, “Trinity”, and “Sala”, among over fifty productions. Her productivity has garnered her multiple accolades, including a Golden Actress Award at the Golden Movie Awards for her role in “Sala”.

‎In addition to her work in entertainment, Sinare is a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment, youth development, and education, utilizing her public platform for social engagement.
