Ambitious women, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders are set to gather for the inaugural BloomHer Brunch and Workshop 2026, an initiative aimed at advancing women’s economic empowerment.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, at ComUnity Spaces, East Legon, coincides with International Women’s Day and carries the theme: “Women’s Economic Empowerment: Building Financially Secure Futures.”
Designed to go beyond inspiration, the programme offers participants actionable, income-generating skills and essential business know-how to establish sustainable financial independence. Hands-on training sessions will cover practical crafts such as crochet, nail art, and bead/jewelry making, while expert guidance will focus on packaging, pricing, marketing, and monetisation strategies, equipping women to turn their talents into reliable income streams.
The event will feature Her Excellency Simone Giger, Ambassador of Switzerland to Ghana, as the Special Guest of Honour. Ambassador Giger emphasised the importance of financial independence for young women, stating:
”I’m looking forward to exciting discussions. The topic is very relevant and timely. It’s about women’s economic empowerment and especially how you can secure financial independence.”
A key highlight will be the panel discussion “From Skills to Income: The Business Side of Your Talent,” which will feature accomplished Ghanaian women entrepreneurs sharing real-world experiences and practical advice on building profitable ventures. Panellists include Juliana Amoateng, Bibiana Gyasi of Cheflifestyle, Jennifer Kupler of JKU Creations, Tyson Sariyu Dornukie of The Northern Braid Bar, and Florence Narh of Chef Mamle, with the session moderated by Diana Edinam Kumbey.
Organised by Bloom Iris Agency, a PR and creative agency specialising in strategic communications and experiential events, the workshop will be hosted by popular on-air personality Tabitha Asangsia, known as Yaa Bitha, who will guide attendees through a full day of engaging conversations, interactive skill-building sessions, and valuable networking opportunities.
The BloomHer Brunch & Workshop 2026 promises to provide women with practical tools and mentorship to transform their skills into sustainable sources of income, furthering the goal of financial empowerment across Ghana.
