The Diaspora African Forum (DAF) is set to launch the Diaspora African Forum Youth Empowerment Training Center (DAFYETC), on May 3rd, 2023, in Accra, Ghana. 

The launch event will take place at the GL-061-7786 Impact Hub Osu and is scheduled to begin at 12:30 pm. The center aims to promote skills training and development in the field of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) among the youth of Ghana. 

DAF’s primary objective is to support the African Union and empower women and youth in communities. To achieve this goal, DAF has established a digital call center that will provide training in call center operation and assist in job creation for certified trainees. DAF’s leaders, Mr. Kevin Williams and Mr. Mahar Cooke will head the center as the Executive Director and Deputy Director, respectively. 

Hon. Ursula Owusu, Minister for Communication and Digitalization, will be the special guest of honor at the launch event. The event is expected to be a great opportunity for media coverage as they are warmly invited to do stories on this event. 

 The launch of the Diaspora African Forum Youth Empowerment Training Center marks a significant step towards empowering the youth of Ghana with skills training and development in the field of ICT.
