Women Of Valour 2026: Nana Aba Anamoah, Kate Henshaw And McBrown Inspire Fearless Women Worldwide

The fourth edition of the Women of Valour conference was held in London on March 9, 2026, at the Hilton on Park Lane under the theme, “The Pursuit of Fearlessness.” The event brought together speakers from different fields and across the continent to discuss strength, fear, personal growth, and the challenges women face.

Keynote speakers included Nigerian veteran actress Kate Henshaw; Ghanaian actress, comedian and television host Nana Ama McBrown; international trade expert Lesley Batchelor; social media influencer Gisela Amponsah; and survivor advocate Deborah Shanley.

Founder of the initiative, Nana Aba Anamoah, explained that the platform was created following conversations about the realities women face and the need for spaces where those experiences can be heard and understood. She noted that fearlessness cannot exist without safety.

Henshaw also urged women to embrace their journeys even when they encounter rejection or criticism. She said choosing fearlessness is a deliberate act that requires believing in one’s voice and continuing forward despite obstacles.

The event ended with McBrown speaking about success and the different paths that can lead to it. “I have no certificate, but I work with 14 big brands in Ghana,” she said, adding that formal qualifications do not necessarily determine a person’s success. The initiative, which began in Accra in 2016, has grown into an international platform aimed at amplifying women’s stories and encouraging collective action.
