Pop superstar Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home was struck by gunfire according to the police.
Police Seargent, and spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Jonathan de Vera says a 30-year-old woman has been taken into custody after shots were fired at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home in California on Sunday around 1:21 pm, stating that no one was hurt despite people being inside at the time.
According to LAPD radio dispatch, at least 10 shots were fired at Rihanna’s house from a white Tesla car parked across from her gate, which then sped off south on Coldwater Canyon Drive.
The Police tracked the Tesla, describing the suspect as a woman with braided hair and a cream-colored top, driving a dirty-bottomed car. A helicopter then spotted her in Sherman Oaks, where she was arrested in a parking lot about 30 minutes after the shooting.
”When officers stopped the suspect and took her into custody, they conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered an assault rifle along with seven shell casings,” added LAPD spokesperson Armen Arias.
Investigations are currently ongoing as to what led to the attack.
