Diaspora African Forum Empowers Young Girls With Life Skills

On Monday 4th August 2025, Diaspora African Forum Empowered Young Girls by delivering a ‘life skills’ presentation facilitated by Ms. Brenda Powell to 100 girls aged 9-15 from Kumasi and Greater Accra regions as part of the “Girls in ICT” initiative with the Ghana Digital Center.

This nationwide program, under the Ministry of Communications, aims to bridge the gender gap in the ICT sector by providing young girls with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the digital age. The program is a testament to the Ministry’s commitment to promoting digital literacy and inclusion among girls and women.
